2nd Trimester: Week 13 through Week 19

Week 13- Urine begins to form and the intestines are moved from the umbilical cord to the baby' abdomen.
Week 14- The sex, or gender, of the baby is more apparent. Arms have reached the final length, and baby is now 3 1/2 inches (87 millimeters) from the crown to rump.
Week 15 and Week 16- Baby grows rapidly, and the skeletal formation takes place. 16 weeks, the baby's eyes are moving forward and the ears are reaching their final position. The baby also starts the sucking motion with his or her mouth.
Week 17 and Week 18- Fat storage develops and keeps the baby warm after birth. By week 18,
